All you
will need to do in order to begin, is register.
Registering on MyFishPix.com is free and easy! Simply
click on the "Register" link located at the top right
hand side of the Gallery Page. From there, read the "MyFishPix
rules and policies. If you agree to them, click "agree" and
proceed to the registration form. Once at the
registration form, you will need to fill out the upper
portion marked "Required Info". Be sure to include a
valid email address. This will be the address your
user name and password will be sent to. Next, if you'd
like, you can also fill out any additional info listed
under "Optional Info". This information is not required
so If you don't know what and "ICQ" number is or what
"AIM" stands for...don't sweat it! Just leave the fields
blank.
Simple! Here's how
to do it~ After logging in, click on the "upload photo" link
located at the top right hand corner of the page. Next, choose
the category you'd like your image to appear in. From there,
click on the "browse" button to choose an image from a location
on your computer. Currently you are able to upload as many as 10
images at one time via the 10 available "browse" buttons. After
choosing the image(s) you want to upload, click the "Upload /
Submit" button located at the bottom of the page (give it a few
seconds to process). Now another page will open giving
you the opportunity to add additional categories for your
picture to appear in. This is also where you will ad a title,
description and key words for your image(s). After filling out
the fields, simply click on "Process Files". That's all there is
to it!
For those of you who dread trying to
figure out how to post your images on your favorite message
board...wait until you see how easy we've made it for you!
Click on the thumbnail (small version)
of the image you want to post on the message board. Scroll down the page until you
see "UBBCode" (see image below). Simply click on the
button bellow "UBB Code" that says "Copy To Clip Board" (see
image below). From there all you need to do is go to your post
on the message board where you want to put the image and paste
the code you just copied by clicking on the Copy To Clipboard
button. For those of you who may not know how to paste- right
click where you want to put the code. That will open up a
window. Left click on "paste". That's all there is to it!
Below is an example. Notice
the "Copy To Clipboard" button.
Yes you can! Simply click on the image
you'd like to edit / delete. Scroll down to just below the photo
and thumbnails. There you will see "Edit Photo", click on it.
From there you can change the category your image resides in or
simply check the box to delete the image. Clicking on "submit
changes" seals the deal.
Email us with the user name of the person
responsible. Be sure to report the name exactly the way it
appears on the board. We'll take care of the rest!
